My Story

It all started with illustration- a skill that I did not know I had or that I loved until my sophomore year of high school. Once I began illustration I realized that this was a skill I could carry with me throughout my life but I never realized quite how far it would take me!

Initially when I got to college I studied Hospitality Management and boy was I wrong in that decision. Following that first choice, I tried about two other majors and eventually landed in James Madison's School of Media Arts and Design(SMAD). That is where I discovered that I could design things to be just as beautiful as art while also making the world a better place.

In my second year in the "SMAD" program I saw a flyer for an internship with JMU Football. I decided to send an email and to date that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was hired within a few days to work for the JMU Football team as a Creative Media Intern and I got to practice illustration, graphic design, and discovered my love for photography.

In the following two years, I graduated from James Madison with a B.A. in interactive design and graduated the following year from Elon University with my M.A. in Interactive Media.

Over the past two years I have been serving as a Product Manager & Product Owner(with an immense love for product design) at Brunswick Corporation, Freedom Boat Club. This has been an eye opening start to my career as I have been working at the epicenter of design, development, and strategy within the organizaiton. I understand that with the combination of those three things, we can make the world a much more efficient and blissful place.
